This rule is
similar to the previous rule because the chance for a PICK 3 number in
which every digit is EVEN (with the digits 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8) is 1 in 8.
So also here rules: Only every eighth drawing (on the average) has only
EVEN digits.
Let’s use
absolute numbers. Out of the one thousand possible combinations,
twenty-five have EVEN digits. In terms of percentages, that means that
12.5% of all PICK 3 results have only even numbers.
The same works for
PICK 3 numbers with only ODD digits (1, 3, 5, 7, and 9). Every eighth
drawing (statistically) consists of a ODD digits number.
Of course, like
the EVEN digits, only 125 out of the 1000 possible combinations have
numbers with ODD digits, or 12.5 percent.
Together only ODD
digit numbers and only EVEN digit numbers make up 25 percent of all
drawings. In 75% of the cases (or in three out of four drawings) the
PICK 3 result contains EVEN and ODD numbers combined.
This rule alone
would eliminate 25% of all the numbers from your WINNING number pick
list.
In three out of
four games your chances would increase form 1:1000 to 1:750 for STRAIGHT
BET.
All three of the
rules you have seen up to now are strictly based on statistics. If you
combine all of these rules in almost 50% of your game entries, you
can improve your chances to win the big prize from the original 1:1000
to 1:492. In other words, you can cut the chances in half! For BOX wins
in those cases you can look at a 1 in 82 chance to hit (which is also a
bit lower than half of the usual 1:166.6).
Up to now we have
not even looked at the previous game results.
The following
table provides you with a reduced version of the previous table. It does
not contain any only even and only odd digit numbers any longer. The
table contains the result of combining the three rules. From the
original 120 numbers table, we have whittled our way down to 82 numbers.
That looks much better than choosing a 3-digit number from 1000
possibilities.
