This is one of the
most frequently asked questions in the Pick 3 game. To a certain extent
I personally answer the question with a STRONG yes. With
this answer I do not mean that I can foresee the specific and exact
combination of numbers that will be drawn. But it is possible to improve
the chances of winning more prizes.
How? Simply by
choosing more likely numbers than a game player under normal
circumstances would pick (such as picking numbers on the fly or just ask
for a Quick Pick at the ticket counter).
The key to
improving your game odds is to follow particular rules. These basic
rules will help you to pick more carefully by using statistical
information efficiently and by eliminating numbers that are less likely
to occur.
There are actually
two parts that determine what numbers are more or less likely to occur.
The first part is
to reduce the choices by removing certain number combinations that
statistically do not occur very often.
The second part is
to eliminate previously drawn number combinations.
For example, the
chance that the same PICK 3 number will be drawn again is only 1 in
1000.
In the appendix of
this manual you will find proof for both the statistics and the
evaluation parts. I included 2 tables (270 drawings from a PICK 3 state
game and 1000 generated random numbers) that you can use to test the
rules and systems of the following chapters.
The first table
containing all possible number combinations (from 000 to 999) gives you
an overview of the theoretical probabilities. The following table
contains 1000 random number combinations created by a computer and
provides you with statistical sample drawings to work with. The last
table contains recent 1000 PICK 3 drawing results from a state game.
This table will give you realistic proof that the rules and the systems
that are described here, apply in the real world and will eventually
work for you. |
