Combined Filters VZero Levels Pairs The VZero Levels (VTZ-LVL) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of a digit and a math filter. It requires two separate parts to create the filter.
VZero (VTZ) is a different representation of the VTracs (VTX) concept with the difference that the digits start with 0 rather than 1. That simplifies the conversion drastically as the first five digits (0, 1, 2, 3 and 4) are the same in both number and VZero conversion. The Levels filter is a so called "math filter". Math filters are created through calculations. This filter provides a way to determine the relative "level" (height) of each digit in relation to the others, the lowest digit of a number always being 1. To show you how to calculate the VZero Levels filter for a Pick 2 number here an example step by step.
Part I: Pairs VZero Levels Conversion Step 1: Divide 55 into separate digits: 55 => 5 5 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 5 = 0 5 = 0 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 0 0 = 00
Part II: Pairs VZero Levels Conversion Step 1: Divide the number into separate digits: 00 => 0 0 Step 2: Select the unique digits and order from lowest to highest: 0 0 => 0 Step 3: Assign a level to each digit starting with 1: 0 => 1 Step 4: Convert the number using the table above: 0 0 => 1 1 Step 5: Combine the filters to a string: 1 1 = 11
