Combined Filters ATrax Line Width Pick 3 The ATrax Line Width (ATX-LW) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of a digit and a math filter. It requires two separate parts to create the filter.
ATrax (ATX), for Alternate or Alternative Tracking, has to be seen an improvement of the VTracs (VTX), as it combines digits logically rather than by a simple adding of 5 to the digit. Since the conversions do not have to be done by hand any longer, other combinations can be done with simple tools online rather than with pencil and paper. The Line Width is a so called "math filter". Math filters are created through calculations. The Line Width is the difference between the highest and the lowest digit of a number. To show you how to calculate the ATrax Line Width filter for a Pick 3 number here an example step by step.
Part I: Pick 3 ATrax Line Width Conversion Step 1: Divide 632 into separate digits: 632 => 6 3 2 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 6 = 2 3 = 1 2 = 3 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 2 1 3 = 213
Part II: Pick 3 ATrax Line Width Conversion Step 1: Divide the 213 into separate digits: 213 => 2 1 3 Step 2: Find the highest digit: 2 1 3 => 3 Step 3: Find the lowest digit: 3 2 1 => 1 Step 4: Subtract the lowest digit from the highest: 3 - 1 = 2
