Digit Filters Mirror3 Boxed The Mirror3 Boxed (P34ID:M3-BOX) is a so called "digit filter". A digit filter divides each digit into options. The Mirror3 filter has the following options:
Digits = Mirror3 0 = 3 1 = 4 2 = 5 3 = 6 4 = 7 5 = 8 6 = 9 7 = 0 8 = 1 9 = 2
| Mirror3 = Digits 0 = 7 1 = 8 2 = 9 3 = 0 4 = 1 5 = 2 6 = 3 7 = 4 8 = 5 9 = 6

The addition "Boxed" (BOX) refers to the fact that in this case the position within the result is of no interest. So the filter string is always sorted in ascending order. Mirror3 (M3) creates a number by adding 3 to each digit without carrying. It is also called a "shifting filter" as it does not reduce the 10 digits it just shifts each digit up by 3. Other common shifting filters are Mirror5 (M5) and Mirror7 (M7). To show you how to create the Mirror3 filter for certain numbers select one of the links below for a step by step example.
