Digit Filters LTrans4 Boxed The LTrans4 Boxed (P34ID:LT$-BOX) is a so called "digit filter". A digit filter divides each digit into options. The LTrans4 filter has the following options:
Digits = LTrans4 0 = 1 1 = 2 2 = 3 3 = 4 4 = 1 5 = 2 6 = 3 7 = 4 8 = 1 9 = 2
| LTrans4 = Digits 1 = 0 4 8 2 = 1 5 9 3 = 2 6 4 = 3 7
|
The addition "Boxed" (BOX) refers to the fact that in this case the position within the result is of no interest. So the filter string is always sorted in ascending order. The name LTrans4 (LT4) derives from Linear Transposition and divides the digits into 4 options. Originally it was meant to be an answer to VTracs that transposes digits as well but creates 5 options and is an LTrans5.
