Combined Filters VZero Sums Pairs The VZero Sums (VTZ-SUM) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of a digit and a math filter. It requires two separate parts to create the filter.
VZero (VTZ) is a different representation of the VTracs (VTX) concept with the difference that the digits start with 0 rather than 1. That simplifies the conversion drastically as the first five digits (0, 1, 2, 3 and 4) are the same in both number and VZero conversion. The Sums filter is a so called "math filter". Math filters are created through calculations. You get the sum of a number by adding up the digits within that number. To show you how to calculate the VZero Sums filter for a Pick 2 number here an example step by step.
Part I: Pairs VZero Sums Conversion Step 1: Divide 35 into separate digits: 35 => 3 5 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 3 = 3 5 = 0 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 3 0 = 30
Part II: Pairs VZero Sums Conversion Step 1: Divide the 30 into separate digits: 30 => 3 0 Step 2: Add up the digits: 3 + 0 = 3
