Combined Filters VZero Front Sums Pairs The VZero Front Sums (VTZ-FS) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of a digit and a math filter. It requires two separate parts to create the filter.
VZero (VTZ) is a different representation of the VTracs (VTX) concept with the difference that the digits start with 0 rather than 1. That simplifies the conversion drastically as the first five digits (0, 1, 2, 3 and 4) are the same in both number and VZero conversion. The Front Sums filter is a so called "math filter". Math filters are created through calculations. You get the sum of a number by adding up the digits within that number. The pairs is the first digit of that sum. If the sum is only one digit the Front Sums filter returns 0. To show you how to calculate the VZero Front Sums filter for a Pick 2 number here an example step by step.
Part I: Pairs VZero Front Sums Conversion Step 1: Divide 30 into separate digits: 30 => 3 0 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 3 = 3 0 = 0 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 3 0 = 30
Part II: Pairs VZero Front Sums Conversion Step 1: Divide the number into separate digits: 30 => 3 0 Step 2: Add up the digits: 3 + 0 = 3 Step 3: Select only the first digit (or use 0 if there is none): 3 = 0
